I am not sure if this person is confused or maybe I just have never heard of a colour being described this way.
The request is for a pantone 485 with 10%K - That cant be correct. Would not the red get terribly dark? I also have never heard of mixing a pantone with one 4 colour process...
thanks dude but my comp came with windows loaded and no disc, although now that you mention it maybe it did. Hmmmm I have to check the box at the office....let you know
I posted something like this a while back and someone said that the actual software resides somewhere on the c drive. How do you find it or activate it to reinstall. My comp is so slow and screwed up I just want to start fresh.I have backed up everything I need. anyone know how to do this?
I ran some a frame inserts this morning using some offcuts of Corroplast brand and no crushing. I guess the supplier buys the pre cut 18 x 24's from some other company. They are chit and I let them know I wont be paying for thewm hehehe

Theres no reason why DESIGNERS should not learn how to make files properly if others need to access them.
Did I not mention...
I am going slightly crazy with a file. It was origianlly set up in cs5 and from what I can tell should be 5 very simple vectored signs. mostly type with a litlle bit of a redraw.
I cant open it in anything I have so I took it to my designer and he has cs4. he got it open although it acted very...
It has only just started happening. maybe my pressureis to great but how was it that I never had an issue before? I dont believe it is the laminator at all but posiibly off shore garbage making its way through the supply chain.

I would love to convert all text to curves but I am not the one who designed it and honestly most customers are receiving these files from other designers. It all basically starts with whoever designed the file and sent it out as final artwork without the full knowledge of what is going to be...
I have no idea how you do that and if you do it how can you look over the file or make colour corrections? Can you give me a detail description of how you print direct from program manager?
I generally set my own files up in Signlab but Flexi has the rip so i feel like a prisoner at...
dude, I would never send a pdf file to myself... If so i would be catching the errors instantly. These are customer files sent to me, by customers I mean people who receive files from another source and have no idea what they are sending back out.
well it's good to know that I am not alone...
I am not sure why this happens and if it is normal with Flexi software, but it has caught me and cost me more than once or twice. It is something so hard to really detect that only by fluke do you catch it.
I am talking about PDF files. I have never seen a software that will open a file and...
I dont understand Flexi as far as the production manager goes.
If I set up a job and then save the job after ripping it, it saves all the information from the rip with it. I like that and it helps the next time you run the job.
Now I have seen the program doing this and feel somewhat...
