  2. Happy hot dog man.

That would actually be kind've cool if hot dogs didn't cool down so fast, especially when you cut them open. They're probably cold by the time you go to eat them. Ugh, cold hot dogs, narsty.
  3. Three week Update

Good to hear, hope everything continues to go well for you. How did you go about contacting Seth MacFarlane? That's really awesome that they're drawing one specifically for your tat. I've wanted to get a krusty the clown tattoo next to my pacemaker scar (love the simpsons, and clowns, and...
  4. To My Friends and Family here...

Best of luck with everything, I'll keep you and your husband in my thoughts.
  5. service call 0105?

For everyone's future reference, I've attached a handy dandy guide to Roland error codes. Not sure how up-to-date it is as far as newer machines but it should come in handy for someone.
  6. Vague request of the year award!

One of our sales reps came in last week asking me how much coroplast is... said I didn't know... so they jokingly (or at least I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that it was) say "Well how am I supposed to sell it? That's OK I'll just go somewhere else." I proceeded to send them a nice...
  7. Vague request of the year award!

Sounds like they're for men's room urinals, better laminate'em.
  8. Printing a banner

Find the profile for your media and use that, design in RGB, and print with MAX Impact instead of PrePress US, you'll be golden.
  9. Royal Sovereign RSC 1401C

How are you mounting stuff? I might have a trick for you, I just have to figure out how to explain it without being too confusing, I'm horrible at explaining stuff.
  10. box truck large rivets/buttons

That's what those things are called! I used one a few weeks ago and couldn't for the life of me remember the name of it.
  11. Anyone tried hypnosis...?

In related news... http://www.cnn.com/2011/HEALTH/06/21/cigarette.labels/index.html?hpt=hp_c2 And these 2 videos just about sum up how I feel about the subject... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHIT2or-F9o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOqez80giYY edit: Figured this would be in the NHB...
  12. Someone Actually Did It...

I'm sure the cops aren't going to appreciate not being able to see what the person is doing when they pull them over as well.
  13. Anyone tried hypnosis...?

    damn, beat me to it.
  14. Buying our first home

Yea, that's a tough one. When/if I ever have kids, they'll probably be home schooled until college (if they decide to go to college), between the teachers and the students I don't trust public nor private education. Hell, my high school was so bad there was a police station in it, and I'm sure...
  15. Buying our first home

How bad are we talking? If you don't feel that your family would be safe there, I'd put your foot down about buying in a nicer area, especially if there's gang activity.
  16. Bright Colors - RGB or Max Impact?

I've never done a side by side comparison of the same file printed both ways, so I'm not sure how noticeable it really is, but when I print vector stuff with MI I do notice they seem to "pop" more than raster images printed with PP. I hate saying "pop" but that's really the only way I can...
  17. Bright Colors - RGB or Max Impact?

Prepress US is for anything that has a raster image in it, MAX IMPACT is for 100% vector files. It makes the colors on vectors "pop" a bit more, and yes it does use a bit more ink. If you set it as Prepress and hit OK, check your ink consumption at the bottom, then go back into settings and set...
  18. Static Cling

pretty sure it works from either side, that way it can be affixed to either side of a window without being reverse printed.
  19. fuzzie

This. Photoshop = raster, Illustrator = vector. Do you have the Roland Color Library imported into Corel? If not and you import a file with Roland colors it's going to convert them to whatever format you're working in.
  20. Just treated myself to some RAM!

If any one isn't sure about their PC specs, get Speccy from http://www.piriform.com/, It'll tell you pretty much everything you need to know, including whether or not you have any open RAM slots. CCleaner, Defraggler, and Recuva aren't bad utilities to have either. I use CCleaner at the end of...
