Chopper I have signlab and like I said I do think the parallel port needs to be ECP for the Edge2 it uses this to communicate with the printer. My computers have the ECP parallel ports, I can not say if the Gerber tested USB to Parallel converters will work with sign lab or not, I do know that...
If you are going to run it with signlab you will need a parallel port that supports ECP! From what I understand that has been discontinued since windows XP.
If you have windows 7 64 you are going to need Gerber Omega 5.0 and the Gerber USB kits.
If you cut with your summa your print area will be decreased! So your best bet is to get a Gerber plotter to go along with the edge.
