We print Big Heads for high schools. Some seniors for graduation, some for sports, and some of the school mascots.
You can print them on coro using a UV printer or print them on vinyl and apply them to the coro. I would not suggest to use foam as it tends to bend out of shape quickly and if...
We switch the Arlon DPF 313 matte finish. It's awesome... clients love it. We don't have head strikes. We print on a 365 and it would be hard for me to even want to change banner media. The white point is great and the prints cure without needing more heat than the scrim material would...
I have not had issues out of the GF201 Matte over the years. I hope it's not the media, but will be on the look out for issues. It's low cost makes it an option when the client does not have the mula to get cast. We print on HP 365 and get great results on this media. It does have a 5-year...
Youtube is full of videos about everything from equipment to techniques to use on various projects. Spend as much as your free time as possible on watching and reading up on products and install methods. That will help as you begin to see all the curve balls that will come at you.
Give your...
That is certainly possible. We will know this week when we replace our network router/hub and see if that can fix the issues.
We have to reboot the Linux most mornings now to get Caldera to work properly. When we click the file manager icon to open new files, it will look up and show part of...
Also we have Caldera V10...
We have had so many bad issues lately with losing connections to shared folders. We had good success with them for a couple of years, but this past year or two has been less than desirable. It's been a pain and will not be thrilled about upgrading when we purchase...
Just curious... What inks do you use?
If you use 3rd party inks, did you have this issue before the switch?
Color issues are critical for sure... Do you have any other issues with the GS3200 LX Pro?
Did you buy it new or used?
How long have you had it and would you buy it again?
Thanks...
Your post is very concerning to me as a HP user. We used to use Roland and switched as we felt the quality of the print from the Latex 365 was superior and we wanted to upgrade to a Summa for the cut accuracy compared to Roland. The quick dry times and easy profiling made it even better in my...
I would be around $1.50 per square foot. I would also remind him to keep this in mind when you use the trade with him in terms of your pricing should not be full retail on the trade items.
When we trade with retail clients we get full market value for the value of the trade. But this is not...
Thanks for the input from a user. Would you mind to share with us the number of 4x8 sheets you can print an hour on different print modes?
I am very impressed with the IQ on the samples. Enough to make us think twice about which printer series fits our business model the best. I could not...
We just received the samples and the print quality is very impressive. No odor... hard to even see a printhead fire pattern. The white look great on the acrylic sample.
How many 4x8 sheets per hour can you print using the different passes? I don't think we can do the R2000 version, so I'm...
Some will brand the client as giveaways. Some will brand the client and their partners... also giveaways.
The client will offer customizable printing on the balls to their customers. But the main focus of orders is giveaway for targeted brand awareness promotions.
I have a friend with an...
That is clever and I'm sure a larger jig could be created in that style. I don't think our QS would pass quality control for the printing.
I wonder how many balls could be cleared from the drop point of the belt to the table area without causing a head strike? I have some concerns about...
That's cool... I wish our printer could do that but we are capped at 2" max height. Golf balls are about 1.68" in height and the jig would push us over 2" for our printer. That and it would be capped at 600dpi or 1000 dpi.
I would like to get as high as possible on the dpi. The Artis claims...
Hello All...
Do any of you currently print on golf balls?
If so, do you mind to share your experience with your UV printer or pad printing setup? We are looking into making our own custom printed golf balls.
I don't have much data on pad printing, but it seems like it would be great for a...
We used to only use Ultraflex scrim banner media but I did not like the heat settings needed to cure all colors. It would make the scrim part more noticeable from the heat. It also cost a lot more, but the white point is FAR less that a pretty white compared to Arlon DPF 313.
We switched to...
I'm addicted to this industry and business in general. I have a hard time leaving before 8 or 9 pm. I work weekends as well...
My wife is happy and we are able to help both sides of our family as needed. I get great joy working on our companies marketing efforts and love to create new market...
