That's it. I just rebuilt my bearings with Roland parts. 1300 bucks. Thk bearings 300 bucks. Wish I new about Thk before I bought the Roland parts with Thk engraved in them.

If the printer doesn't have the pump system in place, you'll be clogging heads.

I've used "craft" perforators for stuff like that before. Michael's or other art supply shops. 10-18 bucks. Bam.

if you can, get one with a battery backup. It won't keep the machine running if there is a power failure, but it will condition the electricity and prevent restarts during brown outs, which is horrible. I've had brown outs on 45' banners that are nearly done. I'm glad I had a battery...

If the network lines aren't protected a surge could go from one computer to another via the network cable and fry the card. Granted a printer should definitely plugged into a surge protector that has more amp protection than what the machines consumes.

oh please keep us posted. I've got a mac pro, suped to the max. I do not have an ssd running as I run raids on every drive on it. If the speed is that drastic I may have to raid up a set for the C:\
