I was just talking to my contract printer about this last week. He has several LARGE printers, 10', and he heat welds anything bigger than what he can print.

I designed my last one in corel rave and then brought it into imageready and did a 'save optimized as'. Cut it in 1/3 of the original size. Wasn't too impressed with corel's image quality though, but you couldn't tell a difference after imageready did its work.

I'm not familiar with postscript level 3. Anyone care to explain? I know that adobe is so much better with colors than corel, but I've never understood why.

Depends what you're doing. For vector and layout I lean more towards corel (draw) than illustrator, just because I'm comfortable with it. Illustrator is great, though. But as a comparison for bitmaps, photoshop kills over corel's photopaint program.

They are eps'd. I've never unmasked but what I do is bring it into illustrator and then save as AI then into corel How do you do the unmask?
