I haft to say in versions 8.5 to 8.6 really sucked bad.... crashing all the time and presets not applying and so on and so on.....i just got the 8.6v2 sp1 and it has ran flawless now im happy with this version. I think im going to stick with this one for a wile and not upgrade anymore LOL:covereyes:

yes you are correct,,would it be a good thing to change that to a scratch disk rater than have it write to C drive on the main windows.

Would it be a good idea to change the temporary files path from the temp folder in C:/Docume~1HP.......\temp to a extra hard drive for a scratch disk,,,,i do this in Illustrator will it work for flexi so its not writing to windows all the time? i hope im explaining it correctly LOL been a long day.

it says its a exe file of 6.7mb but no icon is there on both pcs and when ya click on the file it say open with.................

i just tryed it on my laptop using Vista and got the same problem as with the XP work Pc..so i take it the problem is on SAIs end.........:banghead:

Ya i just installed the v2 update from v1 no problem now i go to get the service pack for v2 and it will not open:frustrated: it is asking me what i want to open the file with...its not a exe file that i can see.

Anyone else having issues downloading it from sai updater web page...... when i download it it will not open.

The trace in Inkscape is real good maybe even better than Illys !!!!!!!!
