It could just be the common practice of allowing engine heat to escape. Here in FL, when equipment has to run stationary for extended periods with added loads (PTO, A/C, etc.), hoods start getting opened.
I am not really keen on shows but the other half lucked out by getting talk with and watch Tramp for a couple of hours. The best part of the show was hanging out with Dave & Liddy, and meeting up with everyone on Friday night. That made it all worthwhile. We do regret that we did not meet Chris...
We have been using SignLab for years. You will find that there a considerably fewer complaints than you will see with Flexi - and we have none. The RIP is easy & accurate and we can even contour with our OM-60 with a repeatable accuracy of less than 1/64".
Your best bet is too look for a newer trade-in. Used printers are not bringing anything close to what they did in the past. As a matter of fact many dealers will not take a trade unless they already have a buyer. Check with a couple vendors close to you, give them your budget and tell them to...
Running 64-bit here with no problems. Haven't had SignLab crash in a reaaallly long time BUT whenever it did happen completely deleting and then reinstalling did the trick.
All of Cadlink's recent products (7.1 on up) will run on Vista64 and later Windows. If you are printing you should look at the upgrade from PCM to VPM - I believe that the memory management is different and because of this allows a high allocation of RAM for the RIP, as compared to the PCM.
After a while many will develop their own methods - no one size fits all. Reading all you can about node editing in your software's help file will help. The best advice to you is make sure that you are comfortable, relaxed, and above all - patient.
Wow! Four pages of debate over color. That is a good thing. It is that very same debate that spurs the competition between the software manufacturers to keep improving the software that we all rely on everyday.
First of all, let me state that my "goto" is SignLab. The import filters are...
Corel does not own Adobe, nor Adobe own Corel. They both have differences and their place that require people to learn how to use and cope with what they have. I prefer to have both.
Corel HAS come a very long way and is a good software package. Admittedly, I will turn to Corel for layout...
Longtime Corel user here too (v2). Corel is very user friendly and fast. Great bang for the buck too. Where it always seems to be lacking is in its Draw import filters, print output from Draw, and random crashes (not so often anymore).
Both Illy and Draw have their place but Illy is by far...
Considering that you already have vacuum, and that you have already used the "alternate" (aka screws) - no. More than anything it looks to be more cumbersome to even fool with, UNLESS you are doing a bunch of little things and I do not see you staring the MC for "itsy bitsy stuff".
Having not...
Yeah - Take it back and get the rechargeable version. I used to go through batteries like crazy, and even worse with the older Microsoft mouse. I have been using the Logitech MX Laser (rechargeable) and I am extremely happy with it.
