  4. Anyone laminate Phototex?

LOL....so what is the mysterious outcome that I am going to find out IF I do laminate it? Are the laminate police going to show up and arrest me? Is this piece of Phototex going to burst into flames? 2 people have said DON'T DO IT without offering an explanation as to what may happen. I read the...
  5. Anyone laminate Phototex?

I understand Phototex has texture....It's not like it's a gritty, bumpy surface. It's pretty smooth. I understand the mindset of it not sticking. I'm also the type who says "I bet I can do it" when others say "you can't". Like I said in a previous reply, I laminated a test piece and I see NO...
  6. Anyone laminate Phototex?

Ok...I just tested a small piece of 8518 lam on a piece of Phototex. I don't see any issue here....it sticks fine and I can't seem to pull up a corner of the lam. So.....wonder why the consensus of 'no lam'?

I've never laminated Phototex before....wondering if anyone has? Does a Phototex decal apply and stay as well with laminate? Sorry. I can't gather any sense from this statement.
  14. new caddy designs for our company

Main thing I see is your top view doesn't correspond to what you have on the sides. In other words, the transition of the top of your sides doesn't blend in to the top like you show there. Not sure how you plan to do that.
  15. material by the foot

They will do by yard, not foot. But not on Printables....only cut vinyls.

  17. Where to find frost/etch static cling

I don't see why it couldn't be cost -effective. Tell the customer that's a custom product and charge accordingly! I was more asking if it would work....I don't see why not.
  18. Ring ring

Tried that approach...do the little sub-job and then get the big stuff. MAYBE, just maybe you land a big fish. Usually it's someone wanting 1000 cards for $20. Not worth the effort. We sub very little, and biz cards isn't on that list.
  19. Ring ring

Get that constantly regarding business cards. "You make signs, but not business cards??" Last I checked, a business card is not a sign.
  20. Where to find frost/etch static cling
