    We just get a 12" strip of scrap vinyl and wrap that around the middle, fastening it with masking tape. Gives you a place to grab it so you don't get fingerprints on the vinyl. Low tech but works for us.

    Not give it a minute's thought. If they have the art I assume they must have paid for it, or somebody gave it to them for free. It's really none of my business.

    To make money along with a printer you should budget for a good laminator and colour management tools.

    I bet you only try and do this once. **** knows what they did to produce that "proof". Calibrate your printer with custom profiles and tell the client your system is calibrated to print whatever is in their artwork.
