    145kmh in an 80 zone.. Middle of nowhere, twisty mountain road. They just brought in new laws here for 45 + over. $2000 fine and had to hand the number plate in for three months... Ah well it's not the first time. Time to get fit again.

    We just get a 12" strip of scrap vinyl and wrap that around the middle, fastening it with masking tape. Gives you a place to grab it so you don't get fingerprints on the vinyl. Low tech but works for us.

    Aren't you over thinking this? The client sends you information to quote on. Send them a price and then act ethically from there on. What's the issue?

    Not give it a minute's thought. If they have the art I assume they must have paid for it, or somebody gave it to them for free. It's really none of my business.

    I get university students a lot wanting their work printed. Give them a cheap price then they ask how much if you print on my paper? My answer > No. We don't do that.

    To make money along with a printer you should budget for a good laminator and colour management tools.

    I bet you only try and do this once. **** knows what they did to produce that "proof". Calibrate your printer with custom profiles and tell the client your system is calibrated to print whatever is in their artwork.
