Thanks. Router cut MDF board, each piece 3 sections screwed and glued to make 65mm thick then sprayed two pack polyurethane. Done in sections to fit in existing vertical slat wall. It was a bit of a nightmare but looked good in the end.

I still have two Rolands. Rock solid, simple, reliable machines with great print quality. I like the latex too, I just wouldn't trust HP enough to have one for an only machine.

I'd like to see how that is done. Wouldn't that just throw a different error code?

I guess the lesson is if you are relying on one of these for your only printer buy two. Because if HP don't have the part nobody does. This segment of their business is miniscule so good luck finding anyone who cares about your problem.

I try and get people to email me rather than phone. Of course initial phone calls are a necessary part of doing business and we need them. Emailing forces them to focus on their point instead of having to go through pleasantries first, and then they start to think about what they want to say...

I started in print with HP aqueous printers. On the right media and laminate prints can last outdoors for years. Trouble is, the right media is not cheap. Nor are the inks. They are good poster printers too. I wouldn't bother with dye ink. Unlaminated on instant dry paper dye inks fade really...
