  1. 6 mil "dibond" (like material) vs CNC

I would think a lot of that could be eliminated with the proper bit. An Onsrud 66-300 bit is what I would use. It says, "for smooth bottoms in plastic & aluminum"...... although I've never tried it out yet. As for the panel "twisting" as Sebastiem said........ I don't know if that was due to...

you use vinyl to repair most everything....and with a matching color. you typically substitute packing tape with vinyl scraps. you use a bucket truck from hanging Christmas lights to pirating HBO on the street pole. you don't BUY Birthday presents, you make them on your CNC router.

One day long, long ago, there lived a woman who did not whine, nag or B****. . . But it was a long time ago, and it was just that one day. :help Is this possible? I'm thinking maybe PART of a day (while napping), but not a WHOLE day. :Big Laugh
  6. 6 mil "dibond" (like material) vs CNC

I was wondering if anyone has ever routered 6mil - 1/4" dibond (or alumapanel) to expose the inner black core for the lettering? I was thinking of "pocketing" down, like 3/16". 1. Is that enough dimension for the lettering?? 2. Will the inner core have a nice enough finish? This project is...

  9. new monument project

I'm probably an overkill kinda guy. This is an install I did last week using "J" bolts. Most of the time my projects are a direct burial. The j-bolts were almost 3 ft long by 1 inch, that were bolted thru a 1" thick steel plate (I had these laying around, and they were the perfect size)...

Does anyone know why I have these 2 symbols on the screen of my CC machine? One is a parenthesis, and the other a slash. These are not normally on there. I assume its telling me I have a problem. I can't find my manual or an answer online. :thankyou: And something totally...
