I always thought print/cut systems kinda didn't work because you really need to let the print sit before cutting (especially if there is ink to the edges)...also do you want to tie your printer up cutting when it could be printing?
my question is..Why didn't that one coach with the red hair beat the living daylights out of some old man that was raping a child right in front of him, let alone simply passing it along to people who he knew would do nothing
...he is as guilty as anyone else.
A simple HEY! WHAT THE FUx...
But I've already printed out so many stickers!
Its true, you're right! Must be the reason we've only had a few English teachers order from us in the past 15 years.
Don't get me wrong we don't put tags on "art" projects (trade shows etc.)or tiny utility signs.
But sometimes I think when a customer wants a new sign after even a year or two he may have forgotten where he has gotten it from...do you want him opening up the phone book and looking for the...
Such noble creatures...in a business that is all about brand penetration there is no thought of advancing one's own brand. Argument being that people will talk you up about how great the banner they purchased from you is, as well as thumbing through their Iphone to give someone your number
Well you guys probably don't 'need' any extra advertising...a 2 inch sticker on the back of an 8 foot banner isn't exactly defacing someone's property...besides many people come back for new stuff using that sticker. never had a complaint.
its removable anyway...
Do you slap a decal or god forbid cut vinyl tags on the backs or even fronts of your signs and banners?
Why or why not? Or "oh my God we should be doing that!"
To answer the obvious question, we do in the back corner...using scrap.
Yea its not your print settings...if they get rain on them they are probably less likely to stick because of all the pollution/pollen coming down on them...baby powder principle...maybe should let all our signs get rained on...mother natures laminate certainly protects my car
We either stand them up so they aren't sitting on top of each other...or print on matte material...doesn't stick when "dry", except to bare aluminum.
Its really the weight of them pressing together that transfers the ink...but like you said if its really a problem use the backing paper
Good idea on the backing paper...Would removable adhesive vinyl pull off paint from a wall? Saw the linked post below about the tricked out wagon...good idea also
We work with digital printers plotters and other neat stuff...what kind of things can we make our kids or wives to bring home?
Just off the top of my head, I made a pizza for my 2 year old out of scrap alumacore from a shaped sign..he loved it but it was kinda dangerous...
Made the wife nice...
