I think these exercises are good, but you should study other peoples work.... I don't like too many effects unless the design calls for it. One designer I have always been impressed with is not afraid of effects and color, he balances all of it very well. I think his designs would work in black...

For me, I attribute most or my episodes of burn out as not being challenged enough. I have been through very heavy personal crap (this is one of those times) and at those times I been very creative... but it can effect my disposition. I'm not one of those people who believe you learn something...

Man those are ugly signs... As long as the running guy, and the wheel chair guy are in a 6" field, you should be okay. But I would order the Blue wheelchair guy sign in case you have a weenie inspector. On the exit sign, yo do not need the running man, that is usually a european requirement...

Since 2008, California has required these signs at all illuminated EXIT... So we have EXITE, EXITE ROUTE, EXIT STAIR UP, AND EXIT STAIR DOWN requirements. I believe Washington and Florida require something similar, but not 100% sure.... Areas where you actually exit the building are required...

Okay, I think I get you.... at the entrance to the areas.. you have the ISA (wheel chair guy) sign... Most likely at the same door, but when exiting, you need a sign that says "EXIT" with braille and tactile....
