customer gave me a number for the blue in the Volvo logo and I have never heard of it.
SM56055P
I did a bing search for anything that would come up with those numbers and nothing. I did find a post for some guy looking for the color and someone told him it was Pantone 072. anyone know anything...
another way to look at it is they went into a professional shop not some dude with a "vinyl cutter" off e-bay in his back shed. we ***** about those people all the time and when they do walk into an actual shop, we still ***** like little girls.
no light comes thru a good 2mil cast black vinyl. I've used a ton of it on signs over the years and have even used it when the background is black and the letters are knocked out. if you mix the translucent with the translucent has a matte finsih and the cast a gloss which is about the only...
freaking Copperplate...I've seen it on everthing, usually with large caps/small caps sqeezed to death so they could get a really big letter as that is all that matters is how freaking big can you make this freaking letter and squish it so bad no one can read the freaking thing 'cause it looks...
and then you call Avery...OMG, talk about going from bad to worse. why didn't you make this with vinyl in the first place? was it cheaper? also did this printer also make the cabinet? did you really sub it out without telling them just what you wanted? you know it should have been doubled...
you can alos build in he cost to sub out to a mason to do the drilling. we won't touch granite or marble as it just isn't worth the risk. the interior wall you might be able to cover that with a light weight material and VHV tape. do call 3M or your supplier to make sure you are buying the...
I use www.bcecards.com they have some nice weight papers, no thin cheap stuff and can do raised print, foil stamping and all that good stuff.
love the card design, what is the font used for the tagline? I love it
MDI products are well made and work so the reason I suggested a more opaque acrylic is that these were made so that light could pass thru paper posters so I would assume the plastic is very translucent. by using a more translucent vinyl instead of paper, the more opaque acrylic will balance it...
yes, maybe make girl #2 more pinup style than hooker. the pinup girl was probably seen as trashy in her day but now has moved into the world of classic. more modern girl looks like a street walker and I think that is the problem. maybe less a$$ hanging out? it isn't about being offended as...
there's a difference between trashy and classy no matter what market you are going after. just pointing it out. of course there are still those calendars with the sleezy girls laying on everything from cars to dumpsters but they are becoming more of a thing of the past
