have you tried cleaning the encoder strip? sounds to me like that could be the issue. make sure you use 99% alcohol to clean it with DO NOT USE THE PRINT HEAD CLEANER!!

umm there is no file attached, depending on the designit can either be printed on a translucent product like Oracal 3850, if it is just a few colours, itcan be cut from pre coloured translucent vinyl

Oracal 631 removable vinyl, it can't be re-used, but for the price, cut him 4-5 years worth at once and be done with it. Everytime I make something that can be re-used the next year, the customer ends up losing it anyways.

We have trouble printing it with our roland, the only way i have had success is printing on the slowest possible setting with lots of heat.
