  1. Critique please

Yeah I agree, Olga isn't the prettiest name around, I do like the warm approach, thanks for the suggestion!
  2. Critique please

The lettering is 2" tall on the finished sign, since in the clients eyes it's the least important piece of information, i'm trying not to make it stand out too much. thanks for the feedback
  3. Critique please

Ok, I extended the backer board and agree it looks much better, plus the tree will give me a easy to hide place to put the seam. all grey lettering is now white and much easier to read. any thoughts on the "bubble" under St. Olga's? Thanks!
  4. Critique please

Thanks guys, I will make a few changes and re-post. iSign, I would much rather be put to the firing squad here than by my customer! this board provides an invaluable service!
  5. Critique please

This sign is for a local nursing home, they are having trouble attracting new clients, one of the main problems is that the outside of the place looks pretty depressing, (old grey brick and stone) they are hoping to upgrade the look and part of that is new signage, they currently have a 3'x8'...

  13. Speaking of copyright infringement

Actually Harley tattoos are a funny one, in HD's own branding guideline book that they give to licenced companies, it says something to the effect of "Harley Davidson is so engraned into the American way of life that people will get the logo tattooed on their skin" by reading that it sounds like...
  14. Speaking of copyright infringement

We had a guy email about a month ago wanting us to laser engrave his tattoo company logo onto some glasses, the logo he sent was an exact copy of the harley shield with his company name written in. I told him we couldn't do it and explained why. i suggested we come up with a logo for his...

  16. who would make a 3d sign?

To be fair, I think alot of the issues we have been having have to do with the fact that they pulled all their manufacturing plants out of Canada, so their lead times have suffered for us. The QC problems have all been fixed very quickly and overall we are very happy with them.
  17. who would make a 3d sign?

I would be looking for a but more proof before calling out a well established company on a public forum. Don't get me wrong, Gemini has their issues (lead time, QC issues) but i've never heard of them selling direct to end users. Yes they will sell to construction companies and architects...
