  1. FONT ID Need help finding this one.

Might be common, never seen it myself. The reason I'm posting here first is that it's an Argentinian Football Jersey, and the lettering is specific to that team (from what my buddy's workers say). I need to find this font, otherwise I'm hand drawing the b#$%h. Any clues? Specifically the NUMERAL...
  2. Flexi Pro 8.1v1 Is not contour cutting!

yeah, same here. had a TINY dot of ink from a roller near the reg mark. barely visible. five passes thru to register and no worky.... little alcohol and a q-tip and i was back in biz. i'm running a loaner FC7000-130 and the tech who installed it said "only use rear set".... he even told me...

  4. Same problem, different day. (photoshop)

i run into that problem if i've been working on something for a bit, or have just copied in a large image. try edit>purge>all. i belive (no expert) that it stores copied images and your history in accessible RAM which can plug you up good. be sure before you do it that you don't want to go back...

nice nice. maybe a little 80's for my taste (the color combos), but a great modern take on a traditional setup. perfect contouring can make scallops look this good on nearly anything. kudos!
  6. MAC or Windows ?

wanna spend $3000 for $1500 worth of computer? I'm with you, ISign. Run PC's for ten years and never once had a blue screen. Maybe two or three run-ins with viruses but always caught them on the way in. The PC bashing code-monkeys who try to shove MAC's down our throats should have their I...
  7. Graphtec CE2000-60 question

have had repeated problems with graphtec in my experience the way they mount their cutter assembly is adjustable, and prone to loosening. If you can wobble the cutter assy at all, if there is ANY wobble or clunk-clunk when you jog the assy, you have to disassemble to repair. If they used the...

  13. Buying A "real" Cutter

CE SERIES IS (now) JUNK. In response to those with long-term relationships with them, I offer the possibility that they've gone the low-rent route with the CE series in the last couple years. THREE FAILURES with a CE5000-120 (in eight months, and I treat my machines BETTER than my children). So...

  16. General Issue Contour Cutting from Flexi

i've been banging my head on this thing for a while, but not only am I starting to bleed, i think I've cracked the foundation of my shop. i'm running flexi pro, and using a mutoh value jet 1024 and a graphtec CE5000-120. the issue i've had that's most frustrating is the sporadic mis-registration...
  17. Got to make a choice Graphtec or Roland

  18. Got to make a choice Graphtec or Roland

I've been working with Rolands for about 6years.... not by choice, mind you. Big thing to consider if you're buying the CX-24 is your software. If you're using anything gerber, (well, GOD HELP YOU to begin with) but you might wind up with all sorts of driver problems. I had to actually write my...
  19. Inkjet printing on CANVAS?

Looking to purchase an EcoSolvent printer, probably the signwarehouse mutoh (?), the PrismJet system with the bundled plotter & Flexi. My question is, does anyone know if this will print on art quality canvas? Is there such a material available? I have a friend whose mother travels a good bit to...
  20. Shackled with OMEGA, help.

yeah, we've had plenty of Gerber equipment Yes, we've had Gerber for a long time and yes, our Sprint IIb is still working. This doesn't eclipse the game they pulled when the first service came up and they changed internals on us that didn't need to be repaired. Funny thing being after that...
