Used printers in great shape often do not get more than 10-20% of their purchase value. Let alone those in rough shape.
There just isn't a market for them right now.

At our heart, we're a yard sign printer. Yard signs are about 65% of our business (used to be 90%). They don't require white ink so we have not had it.

As others have said, it almost has more to do with the drill than the bit. Get an sds drill for your toolbox. You'll never regret it.
If you already use a good battery system (dewalt, makita, etc) get a bare tool sds. You'll love it!

Maybe I shouldn't admit this, but we have never found a solid solution for printing directly to magnetic material without some kind of sacrifice. Generally, there's a loss of quality, or it's really hard on the equipment.
