We do a ton of this kind of stuff on styrene! https://www.firesprint.com/polystyrene/products/
  2. Coro for fb500

It varies quite a bit from vendor to vendor. Maybe try a larger sheet and cut it down? Even a 24x36 cut in half might make a big difference. Let us know if we can help if you get a job you don't want to run inhouse.
  3. shipping Favorite / most Reliable

We ship quite a bit both UPS and FedEx. Ups has been slightly more reliable by the numbers. Usps really does well for small packages under a few pounds. Anything larger needs one of the private carriers.
  4. Need equipment courier 800 miles

We l have used a company called freighters and craters for stuff like this as well.
  5. Large format price calculator

https://firesprint.com/blog/index.php/2021/07/27/how-to-calculate-your-shop-rate/ From there, standard markup varies but many double or triple material costs.
  6. Viable Alternatives to SIGNS365?

365 is an amazing company. So are the other trade printers mentioned here. All of us trade printer mess up. Probably more than any of us would like to admit. They seem to be good about making it right. I know we try to be. When I started FireSprint back in 2007, there weren't alot of great...

    We'd love to bid this!
  8. Just In Sheet Yield Nesting/Imposition Calculator

Haha. Yeah, it would be kind of nice if we used the global standard. However, the calc is in metric (or whatever units you want it to be in)!
  9. Okay, what's it gonna take to..............................................

Just throwing it out there, on the Honey for sale signs, I liked the middle option. I am a yard sign guy at the end of it all though, and that one would print up nice and have good readability while driving 40MPH down a county road....
  10. Automatic Grommet Press Needed

I assume you are looking for a used one. Never have seen an automatic one for $1k. We really like Hiker in general. http://www.hikerusa.com/
  11. crazy question

As others have said, there are probably settings to adjust the order of cuts, but in the end, this ties into the traveling salesman problem. There has not been an algorithm yet that can calculate the most effecient path without just testing all the possible outcomes...
  12. Looking for…

Grimco sells an 010 PVC that might work. We run that here: https://www.firesprint.com/010-pvc/
  13. Employees quit after a few weeks?!?!

This makes alot of sense. Here are the different responsibilities in the organization. Take on as many as you like. If you do, and do it well, you'll be compensated accordingly. The only trick here is to have all your SOPs and Job Descriptions well documented.
  14. New to all this

Welcome! I hope you find the help you're looking for. Lots of insightful people here on the forum.
  15. Covid Sick Time?

Well my comment 3 pages later probably doesn't mean much, but we have 5 paid sick days, then everyone earns 2-3 weeks of pto per year. That seems to be enough paid time off to keep people home if they are sick. It's worked for us. We also really encouraged everyone to get their vaccine (not...
