that white outline will need to be the offset path. that path will be used to cut into the shadow creating the offset appearance. instead of an outline, use the path. thats how you will need to do it to cut it out of the vinyl.

create your shadow, use an offset path to get the separation in the cut. takes two seconds.

to replace the overprice pads that come with the printer. that printer didnt have a waste tank just like the 1204 doesnt. it uses "sponges". the fix seen above is a very cheap and readily accessable fix for when the sponges fill up.

thats a common fix and recommended by most techs.

seriously. we wrap hundreds of cars a year. we remove so many emblems we have a wall of them. read my description above. it takes us no more than 5 minutes to de-emblem the worst of them. the only ones with pegs going through the body are old vehicles especially fords. dont worry about that...

once you hit that step in my instructions, it will work great. spraying rapid remover on emblems... heh. not so much.

heat and a chizzler or squeege to get the letters off. then more heat and fingers to get off the double sided tape. follow up with rapid remover for the remainder. clean with 70% iso. or just throw some shrimp in the door panels.
