    What color is the border on your print? You can get prepainted ACM in many colors. I would choose the color closest to your prints, and then cut the prints them slightly smaller than the panel. Install with a big squeegee.

    you can get a 48x96" sheet of polymetal with brushed gold on one side, and brushed silver on the other. I have a tiny job right now, and I'm out of the material, so I have to purchase an entire sheet again. Arg.

    From the specs, it sounds likes its actually a 3 color job: Black, White, and Blue on reflective blanks. I would guess this would be best handled with screen printing, assuming there aren't 1,399 copy changes.

    :popcorn: The only way I could imagine giving someone a 7 year warranty is if I charged them twice as much, because they will likely come in for replacement on most of the signs before the warranty is up. I also find it hard to warranty something for so long if I'm not installing it.

    I would ask your client why they aren't going with the sign company who did the drawing. You never know, maybe they paid for design, but not for construction?

    My dad had an idea... Separate the power supply for the heaters from the rest of the machine, since they are what draw the most power. Then you don't need a crazy large UPS to keep it running if the power surges. But we haven't done that yet.

    Yes, but for bigger things you need at least 2, sometimes 3 people. Also, cast is much more tricky, but it can be done. I actually would suggest waiting to purchase the printer until you can afford a laminator, too. They are that important.
