    Just put a new roof on 4 years ago, $58,000...paid in full. If I need new equipment I will go buy some. Besides, I didn't say price all jobs that way, just ones I know I am bidding against a low-baller.

    I am NOT home based BUT...I own the building outright, all of my equipment it paid off, so I have pretty low overhead. I could match that price all day long, just to take the work away from the other shop, sometimes it is OK to not make a HUGE profit to keep a customer from going to another shop.

    Better check with the local code enforcement...A body shop here in town put a new one in, found out they were not zoned in the first place for it, they had been there 25 years with there old set-up. Long story short they had to move!
