Like 600...that is only 11 cuts a week for a year, just over two cuts a day....you must not do many signs Ol' Paint.
I am suprised you didn't tell him to use a crosscut hand saw....LOL
I use a vertical panel saw with a 75 tooth blade....To be honest I quit using aluma-junk and only use poly-metal now, way better material, less chance of damage. Aluma-junk dents if you look at it wrong.
Krylon brand spray paint. Back in the 80's I used it all the time on vinyl to create an "airbrushed" effect. Stuff held up well on vehicles going through car washes.
Just had an old customer call and want a bunch of vinyl prints laminated. I asked him where he got them, he told me he bought a used Roland printer and was planning on doing all his own wraps and trailer lettering, but didn't have a laminator so he wanted me to laminate them for him. AAHH NO!
Rolling a film to the inside would cause tunneling in the media, that is the reason.
Most banners I get are rolled to the inside, BTW be careful with pre-grommeted banners in your printer.
I hate rolls with grommet already in them, they never line up evenly so the banners look un-professional.
Customer: Can I stop in and talk to you? Me: What do you need? C:I just need a sign, I need to tell you what I need on it. M: Can you tell me over the phone? C: No
OK so after waiting for this customer to stop in, who was late, it took him 20 minutes of some God awful story to get to a 12x18...
You tube for sure. Cut vinyl I always lay the taped up graphic face down and peel the backing off, then put it back on, then flip it over and apply with the BS. That way you won't get surprise half way through with a letter that sticks to the backing. Just my 2cents.
$2.90 Gas, $3.25 Diesel, $2.55 Off-road (Farm) Diesel (no tax on it, but only farmers and contractors can buy it for equipment. Works in diesel pick-ups pretty well if you don't get caught!)
