How about this: I hand vectorized a photo of a car(as opposed to an auto trace). I took the photo myself. Is the "artwork" mine to do with as I please? I'm pretty sure if I took an easel and canvas to the place the car was and painted it, it would be my copyrighted artwork. Or if I photographed...

What do you do? Is there a website with a portfolio that we can look at to see what you're all about. Kinda hard to give advice without knowing anything about your style or product or position in the marketplace. I realize you've been a member for quite a while but... it's been a while. BTW...

No I haven't. I figured I'd maybe do some lurking on a T shirt forum or go look at what the local shops are selling. It's something I've seen all my life but never paid any attention too. Is there anything that can be printed and heat pressed on that looks good?

Thanks for the link Phototec. I noticed quite a while back that objects were influenced by their environments. Chrome is the most obvious. It looks like whatever is closest to it. (if you look closely at the headlights on the MGA above you'll notice the little puffy clouds and blue sky I added)...

I tweaked the shading a bit and I'm much happier with it. (thanks Robbymac) It looks like I can't really get a good look on light coloured cars with just transparencies. You have to use coloured gradients. Anyhoo... I think you could tweak these things forever so I'm thinking this one is pretty...

The brother in law's has a 428 in it... dynoed at 480 hp. It's a Factory Five replica. Weighs 2300 lbs. Goes like stink. His is also a 4 speed but I think it only needs 2. :)

I'll have to see what a polyester shirt is like. I suspect I've probably seen these types of shirt but never really looked. I'll have to ask around locally and see if anyone does this sublimation stuff around here.
