    The worst idea we ever had at the shop was printing a font catalog. Customers would literally spend half an hour making ridiculously bad decisions. Now we have 15 fonts displayed on the wall mainly to give them an idea of different styles.

    ...if acrylic outgasses how come I've used hundreds of sheets over the years and I've never seen a bubble in the protective liner? (I've also never had vinyl develop bubbles from outgassing but that's another post)

    Yep, happens here, too. Our city just put in a huge wayfinding sign system. There are several large shops in town struggling to get by right now.....the city slapped them in the face and bought the signs in a different city.
