  1. Just finished logo design

I guess I didn't put this in the right spot  I wasn't looking for critiques or suggestions. This is a done deal. I was simply posting a finished project. It wasn't my favorite concept either, but it's what the client decided to go with. This was probably the 3rd best option of the 7 that...
  2. A present to you

    I'm anxiously awaiting mine!
  3. Just finished logo design

Yup. It's CWG. I had about 5 other concepts that I liked better, but this is what they ended up liking. It is light years ahead of what they had before....CWG is athletic block font on a circle with a clipart mower underneath it.
  4. Just finished logo design

Just finished and received final approval for this logo. Thought I'd share!
  5. Stop Writing Project Proposals

As someone who is starting to do more and more branding and design work, this was an AWESOME article. Thanks for sharing!
  6. Come take this piece of junk

Dude. Please tell me you are getting a CNC to go with that flatbed? PLEASE???!!!!
  7. Rotary trimmer

If your straight edge is slipping that much, you are pushing too hard on both the edge and your knife.
  8. Rotary trimmer

A rotary trimmer is a nice tool to have, and it will cut the way you need it to - however, unless you are doing these types of project on a consistent basis it sure seems like a bit of a waste of resources. You still have to line up the panel, and run the cutting tool down the line. Only...
  9. Price Beatdown

Volume is the key. Guys like ProWraps and Colorado, and AZProSigns are doing more wrap volume in a month than I do in 6, and more in a month than what most of the folks here do in a year. For me, I might buy two rolls of material at a time. These high volume shops are buying 50 at a time. That...
  10. Installing into Stucco...HELP!

+1 I'd also recommend some type of rear frame for this application. a rectangular 1"x1" set up would work.
  11. Price Beatdown

See the bold section. I'd probably be in the $2300-2500 range WITHOUT a roof in my area. It is nowhere near as competitive here as it is in Cali. That being said, the roof takes almost as much time as both sides put together - can't do that for $2100 and stay in business....
  12. A present to you

And now with a cache refresh it shows up....lol.
  13. A present to you

What is the heading? because the top blog post at the link you posted leads to a post about social marketing...
  14. A present to you

Yeah - but this blog isn't there anywhere.....
  15. Price Beatdown

What material is he using? Is he trying to sell people on calendared vinyl? That pricing is insane, but you also need to compare quality and design. Was the design provided to him? Etc.
  16. A present to you

Josh, I can't find the blog anywhere....
  17. A present to you

Dude - your site is down :)
  18. Wraps are dead. My work is done.

    that's dumb
  19. Logo Redesign Feedback

I hate to disagree with Marlene, but Dan Antonelli hit this subject on the head in a thread the other day. For a small, local company goig plain/clean isn't going to do much of anything for you. With a name like yours, I'd be tempted to study oldretro diner logos and take a play on that theme..
  20. Laminated/contour cut graphic clouding up

Your putting laminated aqueous vinyl on a vehicle?
