  1. How do you deal with excess vinyl?

Depends on the vinyl. If you are using high performance vinyl to cut and apply, then wet is very appropriate in many circumstances. I have "wrapped" large areas of vehicle surfaces with 2 mil high performance intended for cut vinyl lettering, and the only way is to float it on. You might try it...
  2. How do you deal with excess vinyl?

Yeah, Gino, sounds like it wasnt digital media with any air release. Bob, it could be as simple as starting at the front and working back instead of the other way around. The tendancy would be, of course. Way back, a bodyshop had me come in and install replacement hood stripes on a Mustang GT...

  8. 3yr old vinyl

For interior or exterior application? I'd be leary too if for exterior.

  10. Does anyone recognize this plaque?

OK, I guess I can wing it. I had taken one apart some time ago and took a photo of the background image. I can print that, sandwich it between board and acrylic, and put cut vinyl on top, and I'll use printable brushed alum film from R tape for the silver plate. Close enough. Oh, and the local...

  12. Does anyone recognize this plaque?

Before I go the trouble of making these up "peice meal", I thought I would ask if anyone recognizes this Audi technician's plaque. Is there a vendor out there where I can order it as a kit and then just insert my printed background image? It is 18"x24", maybe 1/2 inch MDO for the print board...
