solstice is a custom font. Most car mfr design their nameplates/car name logos just like the cars themselves and rarely use fonts

Looks like plain old Helvetica to me.

Avant Garde and Impact

Maybe it is one of those "Palatino" knockoffs. I see what you are saying about the E, but the R does have a slight space probably closed up from outlining it. Every other detail of the font says Palatino

Looks like Palatino Bold that has been bolded further (the serifs look artificially rounded - a result of some outline functions). And condensed a bit.

Just thought that I would put a face to the name. I'm sure you all wonder what everyone here looks like. We only seem to know each other by name and very few choose to show their face. I hope you don't hold it against me.
