Well, I am waiting for Roland CJ_540 to arive. I know for sure it has one bad head. I am planing to take that head to epson service and see if they have same head. If they do I will order through them even if i have to pay $50 extra. I am sure they will do it

I don't understand why you wanna take core completelly of the frame. You can put fan next to it and roll on empty paper core. Otherwise you have to make another frame to place those rolls you took of the take up reel.
