  1. What is this ??

Alumapanel has it for $100 per sheet, they'll also cut it down and ship it for you if you can't find it closer. You'd probably still come out better doing it by hand if you're only doing one.
  2. What is this ??

Not sure this will be much help, it would require changing how the sign is done and I don't know if you're doing enough of them to justify buying a full sheet of material BUT... polymetal is available in a red/burgandy marbleized finish.
  3. Negative Comments, What to do?

Adtechia, man, you're a never ending source for conspiracy theorists, aren't you?
  4. Cure for the snow...

If you get enough cords to stretch from Harlan to Atlanta would you mind de-icing the UPS hub? I've got four packages that I really needed Monday that have been sitting there since Friday. Apparently the place is buried in snow and ice.
  5. Flexi-Sign...who uses it? Poll??

Started out with Flexi 2, upgraded periodically all the way to version 8. I'm staying at 8 until I break down and buy a printer.
  6. Negative Comments, What to do?

I caught that when I proofread it but got distracted before I changed it. Few things stink like making a post about grammar using words spelled incorrectly. Remind me not to do business with myself, either.:thumb:
  7. Negative Comments, What to do?

Honestly, as petty as it is, bad grammar is enough, and has been enough, to make me decide not to use a company. If you're going to have a blog about your business you have to remember that every post you make is a direct reflection on your business. You may write something you think is...
  8. vinyl in two panels

yeah, I'm really thinking you've got a tracking issue. Cheaper machines aren't built to the same tolerances as better machines. If your pinch or grit rollers were manufactured just a bit off it will cause the vinyl to "drift" when cutting panels. Cutting individual letters the "drift" isn't...
  9. vinyl in two panels

    What kind of plotter?
  10. Fellers

My problem with the Fellers "discount" is that I have to call and ask for it. It's just always made me feel like they had the attitude that they were going to screw me for as much as they could get from me until I called them out on it. Couldn't they just make the price lower to start with?
  11. So... I guess I am not going to get paid...

Should have charged the landlord for taking them down.
  12. vinyl in two panels

My guesses.... A. Your plotter is slipping or not tracking correctly. B. You're allowing the software to decide where to split the vinyl. It's adding an overlap and when you go to put the two pieces together you aren't compensating for it.
  13. Fellers

Has the Frank Fellers bobblehead come out yet?
  14. Mounting Options for 36" x 24" sign

Can you install a decorative scroll bracket onto the decorative light pole and let them install it with s-hooks? They could even have a generic "Welcome to ...." sign made to hang when they aren't using it for other event signs.
  15. NIKE Wrap!

Hard to believe a company as image conscious as Nike had you wrap that ratty looking trailer.
  16. Hey, I have an idea...

Joe, buddy, I think you're overthinking it. :ROFLMAO:
  17. memjet wide format - extreme speed

I take it the machine is running printheads that are the width of the material. It always seemed to me that moving back and forth was a waste of time and just added to the potential for problems.
  18. WAR EAGLE! (Score predictions)

Something about that 54th strength of schedule ranking at the end kind of killed their credibility.
  19. My PM box is 100% full?

Something was up. Mine just gave me the FULL sign....I had 980 messages....I think three of them were actually worth saving.
  20. Trying to find Printed Donut Boxes

US Box does really good work. I don't know how their prices compare, I never tried anyone else, but the quality was perfect. http://usbox.com/bakery___pizza.html
