"does not meet client requirements" in other words the client has no clue.
As Bill suggested do and overlay and be done with it.
If the client insists on refinishing existing bid accordingly, and when they balk at the price have a second bid using overlays.
Bet ya a box of donuts I know...
We use Arlon 6000XRP for everything outdoors. Wrap wise we only do partials. But we do supply another shop and their installers love it. IMO Arlon laminate is the best I've used so far. Lays down nice and is super glossy, but that's just my opinion. YMMV
We got away from 3M because I didn't...
Go to your local auto paint supply and get some DTM(direct-to-metal) primer. Tell them if you're using on steel or aluminum as the formula varies. Sherwin-Williams Automotive makes a good product.

If you have a great reputation people are willing to wait. They will also pay more for the privilege of not being lied too, having things done on time with quality products, and being charged exactly what was quoted.
IMO Onyx is not user friendly. Open this, click that, drop down blah blah blah. Oh you want to print that too...? Well just a few more clicks and you'll be off to the races.:banghead:
It's 2015 things should be getting simpler and faster.
We run the larger unit which has a bigger screen too. Here's where we get them: http://solventinkonline.com/ $24.00 for 8. That's not a typo. Been using them for a few years in our SP540V with zero issues
