Nice parlor stove. My sister was refurbing hers in the driveway a few years back. Guy pulled up and said: "I'll give ya three grand right now". She said she really didn't want to clean it up anyway.:Big Laugh
Clients almost never supply professional files. I know as most of our work is "output bureau" production. (see above) Seems to me when one calls themselves a designer it automatically absolves them from having to adhere to basic design principles or correctly packaging files for output...
Like it or not Adobe Illustrator?Photoshop are de facto standards. Adobe programs are used in high schools, tech schools and colleges everywhere. Which leads me to my next point. Since it is the accepted standard it is extremely easy to get training, which you will need.
However I am not...
Piece of hair or lint riding on the head has been my experience. Do a good maintenance cleaning and you should be fine. I use lint free tech swabs and butyl carbitol.
Yup. We're getting squeezed from both ends. Lowballers trying to keep the doors swingin' to multi-billion dollar companies that can afford to give the stuff away.:frustrated:
I made panels for a local coffee shop totaling 16'. A retired sign guy install them. He used some type of backing tape he said was used for the seams. Fairly rigid with an aggressive adhesive.
Dang! That worked sweet. Sign still looks good years later. Problem is I can't remember what the...
Here's my story from this week.

Me: Yessir. Will you need it installed?

In my area I have a local fab shop laser my blanks. Cheap as chips.
Zipper tape was used so graphics could be changed out/re-used by the client. They were also interchangeable between trucks. Can't do either with a sewn product.
Have you tracked usage? What I am driving at is how many square feet do you get from the carts? I tried third party ink and was shocked at how fast I went through them.
Started tracking cartridge gram weights on identical files and found the savings not to be so great. This was most likely...
We used to do a lot of scrolling displays. What you need is zipper tape. There is an "A" and "B" part and both are self adhesive.
Not sure what happened to the company. It was a cab/chassis truck with a cube on the back and the displays were mounted on three sides.
I remember having to be...
Sorry to hear about your loss.
'There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors. Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass.
When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this...
Then you got a good one.
It is always disappointing when I hear about issues with any brand or type of equipment. Wide format printers are a mature technology. Although with many things the first generations are built like tanks. Then engineers are tasked with seeing how cheaply successive...
