I see now where the cleaning carts cost just as much as the cleaning fluid...oz for oz. In the long run if you think how long the bottle lasts, it is not really such an expense that you need to risk possibly ruining crucial parts of your printer with acetone.

when it comes to most money, nothing beats small decals. The profits are high and the material costs are low. if I could run 10 decal jobs a day I would have it made.

I think it was posted earlier but you are best to print an opaque white onto 3M reflective using the Edge. Not sure about using engineering grade though as it could tunnel going through the Edge.

Have you tried printing with the heads up high? Is it that much different in quality?

yes I only run at 20. tried the quality at 2 no change. I wonder if it could be software, but I cant see how. it seems to be a mechanical error. Now I am wondering how you tighten a belt. who fixes Graphtecs in the Toronto area? anybody know?

How thick is this styrene and where did you purchase it?

you can and if you are using a solvent printer no special styrene is needed although I would clean it off with alcohol first. I would also be very careful printing on styrene as if it gets loose on the sides and springs up you might say au revoir to your heads!!! :banghead:
