I think the important thing that Dale did do with the BS is that he changed the way I can premask (very fast and pretty accurate), and also laying vinyl cut letters down. Up until I had seen the BS I was never aware that those 2 production issues could be done that way. The BS has saved me so...
I ran a repeat order for a customer, and they are 19" x 48" prints that need to be contour cut. I decided to use this gloss lam that has been here and I want it used up.It is drytac and I remember it was pricey. I cut up all the pieces and used my BS on them.
This stuff has such a thin...
Good ideas.... I do find that it is best for me to get off my azz and back to work and I seem to come alive again. I should get some of these energy drinks though.
I have been finding so long as I keep busy I am fine, but the moment I sit down and check e-mails or take calls, or come on the forum, my body is buzzing and I feel like I could use a nice nap.
What can one take to fight this? power drinks? coffee? uppers?

It's that time of year again.... Myrtle Beach for 2 rounds of golf every day...almost.
So naturally you try to pick a point where you say to customers, that it cant be done and they will have to wait until you return. Not happening!!! I have heard every excuse so far and it makes me laugh...
so anyways I cut my striping out of this 48" roll and the modeling is on one end and I see while weeding away the stripes, at the top end there are these strange patterns in the vinyl. I look close and it looks like something was dripping on it as it was being processed and smearing from moving...
Jill you are correct apply heat and it goes away..... but that is not the point. They charge me premium prices for their products and this is the way they ship them out from the factory. In any case I sent my girl back to replace it with 48" and low and behold more modeling on the 48"...
I like using 3M 2 ml vinyls very much, but lately it seems that when I purchase anything outside of white there is so much modeling on the vinyl it begs the question....what happened to quality? I have a 24" roll of Olympic blue that I am cutting up into stripes for a van and the top 4 or 5...
it is the same. It is a premium outdoor quality although I do not know its capabilities for wrapping. I would think if you had to wrap the stuff, why not just print it or get it printed for you on the proper film.
I used to use clear shield but changed to neshan and only use it for banners. I too had issues with it going on to thick and getting bubbles.
This is what we did.
I used a 4 inch roller you can get at the dollar store and get all the liquid lam spread out on the banner. Then I use a...
There is a local paving company up here in Toronto and their name is ASHLAND Paving and I checked it out, and it is the identical font and logo of Ashland Chemical. Strangely enough they have been driving around with these logos on a fleet of Mac dump trucks for years with no retribution.
it can be the teflon strip. The problems will be somewhere continually on the y axis. If they are random then I woukd think the blade tip may be damaged or the bearings in the blade holder need some grease.
Icant say the height of the heads would cause that but maybe there is an ink build up on the rails that carry the wiper back and forth. Sometimes if the ink dries it can get stuck inside the sponge area
