  1. #2

They generally do get damaged because what they ordered is garbage. I just tell them that it's probably going to fail. There's nothing I can do to make it un-suck.
  2. What is the most used size of a vinyl banner please?

You sound like my customers. No standard. Whatever I can sell you to get the job done, and be worth my time. I suppose in a perfect world 4' X 8', but that would look ridiculous on the front of a folding table, so there is no solid answer here.
  3. Looking for an outdoor banner supplier

Signs2Trade, all day long. I've used them for numerous giant projects like this. No problem for them.
  4. Would you panel this?

I paid $34.94 from the YelloTools company itself in California. Took me a week basically to get it, but was totally worth it. That'll make lots of big jobs simple being able to do a clean start in the middle of the graphic. And yes Jill, I left about 1" all the way around the window, so we...

Banners it's included, but I've seem to have a run on people ordering them on VistaPrint and then bringing them to be because they're bare bones. There's no room to hem them properly, and normally grommets don't last long in them. I generally charged $.50/each if I didn't print the banner...
  6. Would you panel this?

I bought me that tool from YelloTools, and got a couple friends to help me install it. That remove the center and do a "book hinge" method was awesome. We had it done in about 5 minutes. I went and bought a 12" window squeegee and put some glass tape (or something like it, I'm not sure what...
  7. 3M IJ8624 OR PhotoTex?

Yea, I second the phototex. Amateur's can install that stuff it's so easy to install. If you can use it, I sure would. We even contour cut it.
  8. 3M IJ8624 OR PhotoTex?

I don't think the two are alike are they? PhotoTex is more of a fabric, and I'd say you can only use indoors on drywall. The 3M seems to be indoor/outdoor and a vinyl.
  9. WARNING! You may be using an illegitimate copy of Corel X5

I just downloaded it from Corel last week or so ago when they had that huge marked down price. No problems so far.
  10. Can you make some signes- Some customers are just plain daft.

Whenever I get one of these I basically know that they want a $1 Walmart sign. I am thinking about buying some of these and marking them up to $10 and selling them, but I normally send them to Walmart or the hardware store. It's kinda like my "build your own sign" bundle. A blank yard sign...
  11. lamp post banners required from a M/M

Signs2Trade is awesome. Right on their website, easy cheesy lemon squeezeey.
  12. Logo Designers Needed

Yep, Phillip or Jill. Phillip could be a couple days...and I'm only saying that because I want him to keep doing my stuff first! He's normally within a couple hours.
  13. Outsource my digital vinyl needs

I don't know if Signs365 is a merchant member anymore or not, but they have a pretty good online setup.
  14. Would you panel this?

And it looks like that BodyGuardKnife is out of stock...this blows. That looks like the perfect tool. Nevermind, online says they're out, but if you call they have them. Pretty slick looking tool to have around.
  15. Would you panel this?

I have it all printed, and it looks awesome, so I'm not real worried about that. As far as windows go, we don't have to have any kind of permits in town to do windows, so not an issue. I was looking at this, but I think it makes more sense to do the "book hinge" like Mike was saying. Just...
  16. Hurry up! Hurry up and wait.

I had a lady that called last Wednesday that needed a banner last Tuesday. Busted it out, and guess what, still sitting waiting. Oh well, ran her credit card and got my money for the rush. Realtors are for sure the worst at waiting on their rush jobs though.
  17. Would you panel this?

Settle down Beavis...I'm not using perf because of the reason mentioned. This is basically a storage area for freezers and other restaurant supplies that's connected through a hole in the wall to the restaurant on the other street. It's got ugly blinds there now, and she doesn't want people...
  18. Would you panel this?

Yea, not going for "cheap" here. Need good stuff that I can get as much life out of as possible. Wouldn't ever do this wet when I have the option of air release vinyl, but that's just me. Doing stuff wet is a last resort when I'm forced to use cheap material...but even then I just charge more...
  19. Would you panel this?

Yea, my theory is going to be cut 6" or so off the top liner and get someone to help me line it up I think, then pull the back off as I work my way down and just work across back and fourth. I don't see how two little pieces of tape are gonna hold this much weight up. I suppose I could tape...
