MDO signs is mostly what i do. My biggest and steadiest accounts are housing contractors. For those types of signs i prefer MDO over alumalite. Not to say i don't like the aluminum/PVC material. I think it is great for smaller signs or to use as patches overtop existing wood signs. For framing...
The only deals or "good prices" i give out are to existing customers in good standing. That's it that's all. :noway: Anybody else is my standard price. Rush jobs i'll quote a little more than regular. If they are not happy they are always welcome to call around and see who else wants to take up...
Wait until the new line of phones come out but expect that the day after you make your purchase something else will come out better and faster than what you have just bought.
Hahaha ... We all know The Goddess is the brains in your operation! But these are not phones .. The're mini computers that can act as a phone. If she gets the hang of it she'll be even smarter (or appear to be). If not it might make her feel all warm and fuzzy.
I love sending and receiving invoices by email. For me it is allot faster than snail mail. I can create the invoice in my software (Simply Accounting) print it out as a .pdf file and email to the customer right away.
Loooved the video .. Way cool.:thumb: I also wondered if it was personal preference on how you created your linework or if it was your choice of hardware/software that made you work that way.
Always inspiring watching talented people do their work.
Thanks allot for sharing it with...
You are using another 3D program in conjunction with Corel? Going back to other designs you have done in this style i guess you create allot of objects in a separate 3D program and blend everything together in Corel Draw. Others could use their own prefered software i know. I just like...
Do you go off of a picture/pictures or something? With so much detail and attention to shadows and lighting it's hard to imagine that you're just freehanding this.
Looks really cool btw!:thumb:
Easy to say when it's the time of year where you are collecting moneys from your other business. For some people, signs are their only means of income year round.
Banners can last a long time. It all depends on the material used, sewing, grommets, surface it is installed over and of course the biggest factor is sun exposure.
They can last less than one year to well past five. Of course you instruct your customer that it is not meant to be used as a...
Looks great if you want to install a print randomly on a flat space. What about a tiled image? or how do you go about installing multiple prints at exactly the same distance?
Cool idea though.
That looks really cool and dare i say ... ORIGINAL!
Bravo :clapping:
I have a tablet but i only use it for point edditing. I find it very akward to draw with it. I havent practiced much with it tough to be honest.
I usually convert all the colors to RGB. I don't trust Flexi's accuracy when it comes to pantone colors or gradients. I prefer converting to RGB... Or rasterizing into a bitmap or refering to printed color charts that i keep on file.
Sheesh guys! Why not add gambling to that .. Putting in a couple of video lotery terminals would bring in some cash to :ROFLMAO::covereyes:
Seriously though ... When times are tough sure your mind starts racing for ideas. Adding services like Tim is saying is definately a positive direction...
