Thank you so much, fellas. I was having a hard time. Between yours and the one I found I got something useable.
  2. VFW logo source

I know I should have done a search. But does anyone know of a good place where I can locate a VFW logo as depicted below, in vector format? (minus cute shoes) :thankyou::signs101: Love.....Jill
  3. Farmers Market Logo

Farmer's market? That doesn't have a farm feel at all, or an organic or food look. The fonts are a mish mash of wedding invite looking weak decorative things. Never use all caps in a display font. That thing is a hot mess, there is nowhere for your eye to focus. There are the three fruity...
  4. Gypsy Graphics...

    I'm all ears! Love....Jill
  5. Post Your: Signage related photos you see locally and grin

Snapped this Friday night. "A discount sign company" (in smashed Copperplate) With a big-ass for rent sign in their window because they went belly up. Love.....Jill
  6. Roland for making pounce patterns.

My 4B was the absolute best plotter for making pounce patterns and I still have it hooked up in my garage. I always just reversed the layout then plotted, no need for sanding. With the Graphtec I pen plotted then hand-cut my last patterns with a pounce wheel (they do come in various sizes) and...
  7. Help with font or fonts

If that's all you need, and not a bunch of typed text, you could probably finagle Avant Garde by skewing, and using the upper case P, rotated and the leg trimmed, for the d. Just sayin'. Love....Jill
  8. Humorous heading

And the naked guy's surname is "Winer" hahaha Man I would not buy books at his store, the pages probably all stick together. :) Love.....Jill
  9. Completely New and I just bought a vinyl plotter!

"Minus well"? Can't hardly wait to see the spelling on these signs. Did you perhaps mean "Might as well"?
  10. Font Download Problem - dafont.com

I think my Steelfish came from myfonts (when you type in "free" in the search bar you used to get a big list of some nice freebies) I actually like that font a lot. Love.....Jill
  11. Larry

A frazzled looking doe comes out of the woods. She mutters to herself "I'll never do that for two bucks again!"
  12. What would your price be?

Definitely go with Scotchcal (3M) it costs more but it's worth it. I don't post my prices out in the open tho, sorry. Love.....Jill
  13. Don't you just love it when....

You get what you settle for! Steph is right, charge a lot to remove it on top of what you were going to charge him last year. Plus an additional 15%. Love.....jill
  14. Music to our ears.

"I don't care what you do. Just make it look good. You're the professional" "We really like the logo you did for ____. Can you do one for us?" "Instead of a deposit, I'll just pay for the whole thing now." Those are the ones I like to hear. Love....Jill
  15. Removed vinyl, how to clean "ghosting"

The ghost of letters past is usually permanent. You can conceal it but you can't remove it. Try just turning the panel upside-down (not backwards) That way people won't be able to read the ghost as easily. The best thing would be to buy new. Love....Jill
  16. Think i'm going to like this new client!!!

Neato Squeato! GG your mojo is contagious. Happy for you. Love.....Jill
  17. I feel guilt for watching....

I woulda walked over, sloppy sandwich in hand, and heckled while eating. "Hey you spelled that wrong" "That looks crooked" "You must have a steady hand" "Can you come over here and look at my pickup it needs lettered" "My nephew has a sign company" etc etc etc all said around a mouthful of food...
