  1. Do I need to transfer tape?

This is what I'm doing..... This is slightly exaggerated, but the body line has a slight arc to it. My thought was, it would be easier to follow the contour without tape, then to cut the vinyl with this arc. This picture is reflected, and is actually the passenger side (which has alot of...
  2. Do I need to transfer tape?

I have to apply a 5.5" stripe on a vehicle, using oracal 751. What are my chances of applying this without transfer tape? I was figuring on using a 6" wide felt squeegie. Sorry for the "dumb" question (for you pro vinyl appliers).....I usually Transfer tape everything, unless its...

  5. Your drug of choice?

Ya know what they say.....A picture is worth a thousand words. See you in the "After Hours" section.
  6. Your drug of choice?

Glad to see you're feeling better Stacy. Now that the fever has broke, I'm guessing we won't be hearing any more juicy stories? thats another thread all in its own.....:frustrated:

wow, I did a search for "Sky" on here.......thought everyone was talking about me.
  8. Your drug of choice?

I'd take the advice of seeing your doctor. Sounds like that will turn into pnemonia. On a side note...to admit to this deep throat stuff is pretty "Open" there Stacy (how high is that fever?). Besides, you do know where gay men stick that thing, right? just out of curiosity....did...
  9. Your drug of choice?

now thats some funny stuff Stacy :ROFLMAO: If I was gay (WHICH I'M NOT!!!!) I'd give you the chance to change my mind with the "deep throat" stuff...:ROFLMAO:, but he let you kiss him after you had been puking? Tequila...one of my old favorites.
  10. Baby, it's cold outside!

Baz buddy, you better find that frozen section (along with your heat gun), before the pipe decides to split. Then leave the water trickle until you get some electric pipe wrap.....ohhhh why am I telling you. :ROFLMAO: You know the drill, living where you do. BTW, it was only -6F here...
  11. Baby, it's cold outside!

    I hate you. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .just kidding I'd love to play that course. Think of me every time you double bogey. Yeah, I jinxed ya.
  12. Pittsburgh WOW

Glad you had a good time Jill. I don't think the panels look "cheesy" at all. My fav is the Bree Feer....or maybe the "Assholes Garage" (and the best part...Don't Touch Anything) On a side note.... Being that you shake with your right....what was your LEFT hand doing?
  13. Shop experiment

kudos to you for providing your shop for the experiment. Sounds like you both learned from the experience.
  14. So frusterated

My acer has the same problem.....and here i thought it was just me. A usb mouse fixes the problem, but I guess that takes away some of the freedom of a laptop.
  15. Life size cut out stands

.040 aluminum? Of course the bend will stiffen it up, but .040 won't hold itself up. About the only fool proof way of keeping them up, would be to mount them to the wall. Or make an easel out of mdo, with a base between the pvc and the back of the mdo, and throw a sandbag on top of that.
  16. D.B. Cooper found in a sign shop?

I think he's still alive, living in Pensacola.
  17. not too bad for a 48 hour rush job

I think he allready said Gino. You have to plan for the worst, when handing over a sign for the customer to install. EDIT: Or perhaps your question wasn't really a question, rather leading up to a "Better Way", that you will now share with us?
  18. not too bad for a 48 hour rush job

Nice Doug. You took a piece of komacel (?) & a couple 4x4's and made a fantastic looking sign. I zoomed in on the "Installed" pic, to notice they didn't touch up the screw holes. Perhaps you should have included a little touch up paint. Or another option (next time) would be to screw a 2x4...
  19. Pittsburgh WOW

Just raggin on ya Jill. Yep, that was in Altoona but I don't remember why it didnt' happen. The excessive amounts of Alcohol & great company may have had something to do with it. Have fun at the car show.
  20. Pittsburgh WOW

I thought you were afraid to paint on vehicles??? Hell, I asked you to paint my tailgate a couple years ago, and that didn't happen.
