  1. 3651 over rivets?????

If won't have to last more than 5 years. My customer will have a new trailer by then. So how much time do I have Mike? LOL
  2. 3651 over rivets?????

Well, this isn't what my customer asked for, although I have to take the blame for the order (now for the rest of the story). I place an order, and didn't specify what material I wanted. I only said that I wanted a good quality product, as this was for a good customer (I assumed 3m was...
  3. 3651 over rivets?????

Too late Mike. I'm just wondering how much of a problem this will be, in my future. I spent quite a bit of time on the rivets (lots of pokes & heat....more pokes, more heat.....uggghh). The finished job looked pretty good, but it was very time consuming.
  4. 3651 over rivets?????

Typically I would insist on 3m180c to letter a riveted trailer, but I was forced to use 3651 (not my prints, only installing). The panels are 2.5ft x 12ft long. Can I expect to have problems (down the road) with tenting over the rivets? Can I get away with using this product? Will the...
  5. Thanks Insignia!

Yep, that is contradictory to what Ive been told by my supplier. Do they stick (print side down) because its not a full coverage of ink, or is the ink a "natural" static cling kinda stuff?
  6. Do you consider your local competion friend or foe?

I would guess it had little to do with his high prices. On the contrary, I had one local guy go out of business because he was too low and couldn't pay his suppliers. If you do good work, you will not be sitting around doing nothing. OMG what a freak. There has to be more to the story...
  7. Guys...Please help when you have time.

ok, you suck at design......at least you have a great sense of humor :thumb: Thanks for the laugh.
  8. just a joke (Smart a$$ )

LMAO. How about this.... A passenger in a taxi leaned over to ask the driver a question and tapped him on the shoulder. The driver screamed, lost control of the cab, nearly hit a bus, drove up over the curb, and stopped just inches from a large plate glass window. For a few moments...

  13. Do you consider your local competion friend or foe?

I could have written either one of these comments. I try to be helpful....if you need something I have, its yours. Need my truck, just put some gas in it. Just stay out of my office :ROFLMAO: Keep your friends close & your enemies (or competition) even closer.
  14. new direction of work!

That rates right up there with basket weaving....)))))))))))))
  15. Sign licences

LOL.....On the weekend, when the city manager and every other city official is out-n-about? Stick to a week day when you know he will be in the office. Perhaps it would be best if you do installs on the hoot-owl shift?
  16. Before/After planning stages

How about starting out with a burgundy background?
  17. Getting started as a hobby

my bad Stacy... you know I :loveya: I don't know what the answer is. All I can do is be selective to whom I offer advice, and most important, WHERE I offer advice (premium). And I do HATE the fact that I feel restricted with my participation here. I hope you know me well enough, that I...
  18. Getting started as a hobby

Back to work.....have a wonderful day.
  19. Getting started as a hobby

I don't have the time to read this whole thread, but I will address what Stacy had to say. Could it be, the Original Post was worded exactly how it should have been? Honest. Sounds like you want to "re-word" it for the OP, so he will be more accecpted? Could it be, some are simply...
  20. Hand did before and after

Sign is beautiful. A+++ Your diagram wouldn't open, but judging from the picture, the post install looks like a pain (but clever). PS. A little shrink wrap around the bottom of the post, is a great help when pouring the cement.
