It's the same. The second one if for ordering from the USA or Canada it says in their FAQ.
They make good blades and I've had luck with them, but I've had more success and longevity with the OEM summa blades from my experience.
The head won't read past the two outermost rollers, so if those rollers are inside of the OPOS registration marks you'll get that error. Also could use the entended load feature, but I haven't used that before.
I think it depends of if you definitely are getting money from it or not in the end. If you're current setup is more than enough then I'd say part with it.
That's what I've been thinking for my SP-540V, I keep it for one job I run and might need a new head, so to me it's not worth it. I'm trying...
I know I'm not using Flexi but it shouldn't be too much in the way of initiating the cuts. I send my barcodes over to a folder that's linked to the Summa Cutter control. Start the server and on my machine I initiate it. (I hit the test button from the main screen and it initiates the cutter to...
I use ONYX and barcodes daily. It doesn't matter which way it goes in when doing barcodes. I've put them in from both sides and it's cut fine both ways.
The issue went away for a little bit and now it's back to doing the same thing again. Near the origin the cuts are good but as it moves up the sheet the cuts get way off as the photos show. I just have no idea what is causing this.
It's very strange, it'll work fine for a bit then it'll start...
Mostly just small jar tops for concntrates and more wraps and tops for jars and also a lot of die cut stickers. I worked at some grows when I was just starting to do vinyl work and I've met all kinds. For the most part everyone is really good, always will have a few bad apples in the crowd, but...
I work with a wide variety of growers and business in the cannabis trade, actually 99% of my business is from them. The smaller growers definitely would buy more larger jars for curing and storage. Also bud doesn't get crushed in glass jars as opposed to putting them in mylar or vacuum sealed...
Yeah I always use every wheel on 54" stuff. Blade is pretty new, been using it for a couple weeks without any issues.
I reprinted what was bad and laminated them today. Just for the heck of it I took some iso and alcohol and wiped the opos sensor. I tried a sheet and it worked fine, second and...
They are supposed to be circles. It happened on another file as well. I impose my sheets in Illustrator and then step them out in Onyx.
Occasionally I've had some cuts that were off but not like this.
The odd thing is the on the outer edges of the 54" sheet the cuts are good. Even borders all...
Came back after a couple of days laminated a few sheets and started cutting with the barcode like I normally do and my cutting was way off. Seemed to be about 1/16" off in some places, near the center of the sheet. The outer two edges were fine. I noticed as the moved to the cuts near the middle...
Definitely the carriage cable. I had the same issues on mine and had to replace it and worked fine after. Definitely get a manual to see where the cable goes. It's not really hard just a little tricky in spots to get in.
True. It's basically a way to funnel people and try and give me a little bit more hands-off to getting people quotes really.
I'll have to see about a form as well. I'm not sure my clients are into that kind of thing, most don't even know where to begin with ordering stickers. Basic things like...
Stickers, either die cut or in sheets for now maybe other stuff later.
I can afford to have something setup, I'm just not sure about associated costs for websites like that. I don't have any site building experience, which is probably why I can't find something I can do myself for this type of...
I don't have a website but I get asked often and I would like to try to funnel business inquires through it rather than dealing with private messages from lots of people and it would just smooth out the ordering process I believe.
With that...does anyone know where I can build a site that I can...
Care to enlighten on your method of cutting? It seems everyone has a different way of doing it. I'm interested to hear!
Some people, do the contour cut then perf cut the stickers, some do a single cut and they pop out, others, like myself, do a two-pass deep contour cut.
