  2. Silver Mirror Chrome Long Life

Thats right RJ, if they want the real stuff that is the way to go. We still apply clear over the whole thing.
  3. Pricing cut vinyl

Square foot pricing only goes so far. You have to look at the time involved. One square foot of 3" helvetica is not the same as one square foot of 3/4" Times Roman. And instalsl have to include the time to get ready, travel, on site time and time back to the shop. Then there's the time involved...
  4. Silver Mirror Chrome Long Life

Vinyl EFX Durable is the best I've found. But for any job that is supposed to last I apply clear vinyl over it with a trap.

Used to paint backlit faces but used specific paint for polycarb. From what I understood the paint was designed to "flex" since the face moves and shrinks/expands. 12. Need Help Envision 375 Strange Problem - Won't Cut Some Jobs

I hate hearing about stuff like this, especially when it hasn't happened to me (yet). The first suggestion is to double check all the connections, internal and external.

Hope that it's a quality unit then Youtube the brand for pointers
  14. Question what material for "across the street" banners

What does the client spec? Around here the towns all have specs. For double sided ones we use 18oz blockout, sewn hems with webbing & re-enforced cornerd and yes they all wanted the dreaded wind slits. Mesh banners are OK for a single side banner for double side I think the ghost looks bad.

  18. Non-compete

I have never heard of having a sub, like an installer sign a non-compete. Employees yes, but not in this business. From what I have read they are very hard to enforce unless you have the money for a lawyer. The only instances I know of that it has been used is when selling a business.
  19. Round aluminum sign blanks

I have used Hall, good company, but sometimes the lead time can be a little long
