Artbot... I was able to see the Vutek DS run at Vutek, Quite a machine, but it was cancelled. Inside rumors are that they didnt feel they wanted to compete with the HP7500 for 1.3MM where they were intending 2.3MM. HP has done an amazing job with there high end printer, and last I heard...
Mike, it appears you have many fans... Could you please look into my sample return. If they went out weeks ago, they are long lost. Can we get a tracking number?
I no longer need the quotes...Thanks
Memjet is one of several new 1 pass print heads. At 12" per second, or 60 ft minute. it is fast and at 1600 dpi, it is fast and fine. Kodak owns the speed record right now at 1000' ft per minute. I have shown this video to a few others... It is a Kodak printer running at 500 ft/ min at 300 x...

Hello Rick... I posted a short video of the printer in the recent forum with the first picture.... Just wanted someone to see it! We will be in production soon
Oh yea.... would love to... I would love to hear about what you buy. If you are using many versions with color, I am sure we would be a very competitive option. If on the other hand, you are using lots of the same style and graphic, we may not be more competitive than traditional. I would...
VIDEO running 9000 sht/hr
Thank you... The machine came in about 12 pieces, thus the 8 weeks to install. The actual running speed is 400 ft/minute, so the shets/hr are dependent on the size. An 8' sheet would feed vertically thru the printer and would feed at 50 sheets p/minute or 3000...
Thank you Rick... I will try to get a small video up later today or tomorrow. Today is dedicated to software and color management, but I will get something up this week.
Very first image off new technology by Kodak... almost 8 weeks of setup so far, but here is the first full image. Printer is 92 ft long and prints 4 color aqueous with aqueous topcoat in line. Print production will begin Oct 1. This was only run as a test print but the running speed was 9000...
There tells the story of an older man who every day goes to his favorite fishing location. He is sitting on the bank of a secluded large lake catching nice fish which he will take home to his wife which she will prepare for dinner. One day he is approached by a younger well-dressed business...
If you are doing less than 20 pcs, I would probably look to use PVC. layer several pcs if you cant cut 1"... If you need 200, I would look to die cut 1/4" PVC and layer them. You can hot wire styrofoam if a great option, but I doubt they will hold up for multi uses.
Anyone know where I can help installing our UV Liquid Laminator? Neschen wants $2500, seems like a lot?... I wondered if anyone knows of a local service group that works on these in the York/Baltimore area.
Thanks in Advance..
Rycck
We can do this for you pretty easily. I need to see the file for the bumblebee before I can quote you. At this quantity, we would digitally cut on a Kongsberg, we wouldn't die cut until 100 pcs+. We are in York, PA.. My supplier only carries 6mm and 10mm.. Do you think you have any...
We are a cardboard packaging company. I have a few questions before I can give you a price. How many are you looking for? Are they all the same size? What size and make are the signs you want to insert? Are they printed solid black?
