This is a customer of my customer so I am not replacing anything for free. I can't imagine the type of force it would take to actually pull a banner right off of a 1" thick double sided taped anchor. Who ever did this is an idiot especially considering that they were technically borrowing it...
I guess they got the message cause I have not even seen them since that day. The carbon dioxide monitor isd a really good idea and I will purchase a couple of them for the back shop and the front offices.
Thanks for your input.
I received a call from a client I have done over 100 retractables for and this one banner I did was sent back because the top had somehow managed to break free of the grippers that hold it in place. I am no fan of this type of system and I had a spare top bracket from a different banner stand...
yea thanks, I have the nuvopolish and yes it works but fak, I dont have that sort of time to do that, besides it does not do nice things to my vinyl.
They look great when they are placed on a desk and used as they are meant to be used....simple identification. But if you hold it up to a light...
I have to do 300 name plates on clear 5/8" plexi. The customer supplied the pieces and I have to cut a name in black vinyl and a blue 1 color logo. I then put this strip of blue along the bottom. I suppose these just sit on a reps desk. The pieces come in with the paper on both sides and after...
generally we are slow december, but I was lucky and picked up a few orders from car part mfg's which are just getting back up to capacity and have been sitting back waiting I guess. I hope you guys pick up. Chin up boys, I know the feeling.

those are the bills they DO pay as they cant dick them around. I have a new policy with slow payers...C.O.D. club, and I let them know that they have abused their credit and now have none. Dont like it? go elsewhere, they wont give you terms and they dont have your files he he he
Actually that was a bait and switch thread subject.
I have to put an 8" reflective stripe around this ems vehicle and this is the third vehicle we received with no more coming in as far as I know. The first vehicle that came in was a new sierra with these incredibly huge flair outs on the...
The storm arrived at 2am this morning. How do I know this? cause I woke up again...jeeeezzz. In any case I had my alarm set for 5:30 as I am not driving to work with all the newbie snow drivers. Amazingly at 6am I was not the only one who had this idea as the roads were pretty busy for such an...
I have not seen lustre digital vinyl unless of course you are talking laminates. Brings me to the next question. Does using a matte laminate on a gloss vinyl result in the same after look as matte on matte? I have actually never tried it but I definately will order in a full roll of matte and...
they have all these trucks and backhoes and bobcats and a float a trailer and this big honking snow plow Mofo and not a name a stripe or anything on any of them, seems strange but I will definately get some work out of them sooner or later.
why?

Actually I never even ask customers what they want. I guess I am so used to the vinyl world where everything is basically gloss it just isnt part of my repetoire. I am going to start to ask and see if I can move more...
I have been in this industrial unit for close to 20 years. I have seen many businesses come and go. I am the longest tenant. (to stupid to buy). My last neighbour did staining of mouldings and refinishing furniture. The guy was always behind in his rent and had people constantly hunting him...
I generally print 95% of everything on gloss vinyl but it dawns on me that matte looks so much nicer and doesn't show every defect from application as easily. ( no reflections) I am seriously considering moving over to matte for most printing. What do you guys prefer?
