OK, sorry for the bandwidth drain, but I'm quoting my story to connect it with the photos. I decided to make a blog post out of it later, so I spent over an hour on the photos for the blog, but I just made a collage of them for here. It's hard to tell a story with all the memories it still holds...

let's see... maybe the time I had to slice a sheet of 1/2" gator foam in 4 panels, contour cut to a custom panel shape by hand, mount edge prints, hand cut dimensional foam letters (w/ prints) to mount to main panel with spacers at jobsite, figure out how to mount concealed rope light to back...

very interesting topic... timely as well, because I just read about some flamingo in Baltimore or somewhere back East (I'll look for that link) One thing we all know, in theory, many permits are to help ensure against faulty construction & unsafe consequences... but the majority are rubber...

is it illegal to be a phuqinass about it because someone mentions his crime? NO!... ...but it's skin off all our backs when we ignore personal attacks around here... & if we are deprived of witnessing things like a valve cover wrap as a result... that's a trade off I can live with...

Many of you probably saw my "Sign Planning Guide" thread that I posted a week ago, about a sales tool I hope to use soon. Anyway, I just made a decal page to add to the booklet. (and the web based downloadable file) I have been tweaking all 12 pages based on at least half a dozen or more...

Thanks Gary & Red... ...not sure which person gets most of the credit, but I'm sure Joe will give me half the credit for dreaming up what I wanted & he knows I'll give him half for bringing my dreams to life (with a lot of dreaming up his own ways of improving it)... ...and a third half...

David, the decals were added to the site more as a selling point that we do decals. They are not there as a portfolio piece, so I'm less concerned with showing off any one decal. I already have 200 images of my work in the other gallery pages, one image to a frame... straight shots, nice...
