If the trailer was not prepped properly, you can have issues no matter how long you wait. If it was done correctly, after 2 weeks there should not have been a problem with the paint lifting. A good thing to do is test with masking tape in an out of the way place the paint adhesion. But this...

We also install the rally type stripes wet without mask. If you have to use paper mask and install wet, it helps to wet it before removing( it lets go easier) if you have trouble with it tacking up at ends, spray straight alcohol on the sticky side. it will evaporate quicker.

Thanks for the comments. I agree the front could be a little different. I borrowed the front from a vector graphics design. They also have Chevys and I wanted a design that would work on both without being too different.
