I had an account for a few months and I just got annoyed with all the emails so I cancelled it, and I'M STILL GETTING EMAILS! I don't know how to stop them. Far as I can tell, it basically served no purpose, at least wasn't working for me for what it claimed it would be used for.

  3. Looking for Supplier for Braille Washroom Signs

I believe Gene @ C&C Engraving a MM here does them if I remember right.
  4. Auto Body Customer

If anyone wants me to use their stuff, or wants me to use anything other than normal stuff, they normally pay twice what it'd be for normal materials. Normally they come around, but sometimes they don't and it's worth my while. Same reason I sell a blank sign, a step stake, and a sharpie for...
  5. How long to remove full wrap?

That's a good idea. We've all had the jobs where they said they'd do something by a particular date and they never showed up, so it made life way more miserable.
  6. Uh-oh.........................

Don't say his name...he'll randomly show up with his creepy smile again. I musta missed all this "Edna" drama.
  7. Wrapulator Anyone ever heard of it/used it?

I'd buy it at $10 or $20, just not a month. Here is what mine said. Am I just a moron that's reading this wrong?
  8. Install company screwed me, What can i do?

I did a survey and basic banner install for a company in PA here in Indiana. The town was a stretch from where I wanted to work, but they were offering decent pay for my travel time, so I decided to take them up on it. They refused to pay in advance, but they'd pay "soon as they got the...
  9. Wrapulator Anyone ever heard of it/used it?

If you did a lot of wraps it'd be a handy tool. I was going to buy it just for the heck of it and to check it out at $20, until I realized that was a MONTHLY fee. Can see this being a great tool for someone who does lots of wraps though and needs to quote on the spot.
  10. Do we have a Wrap Installing MM here?

I went to the Feller's wrap school probably 6 years ago, was one of the last classes they did. It's been a while now, and I've seem to have a steady call of people wanting wraps. In the end, they generally don't want to spend the money, and they end up just wanting graphics on the truck, and...
  11. 48" Oracal 651 by the yard?

Yea, far as I know, Fellers is the only place that cuts it by the yard. The bad part is that you have to wait for it to ship from wherever that cut roll is...but it sometimes beats buying an entire 10 yd roll when you only need a few inches.
  12. Why is Clear application tape so hated?

I'm with everyone else here. Too agressive, static, stretches, on and on...just bad to use for most stuff. I'll use it once a year or so if I have to stack a layered graphic for some reason, but I have help when I'm doing it, and we still normally have issues. I should just throw the stuff...
  13. Arbys new logo

I'm not in love with either, but I don't HATE them.
  14. face book

I've gotten a ton of work from it, just on my personal page. Whenever I do something I like, I just upload it to my website, and to my FB page. When people contact me they say "I've seen your great work on Facebook" and then they understand that it takes a little time, prep, and money to put...
  15. Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong?

    Haha...there's not enough popcorn.
  16. everyone is in a rush ???

Oh yea, that reminds me as well! I had a guy come in last week wanting a whole bunch of existing signage cut so that he could splice it together on his backlit cabinet. I told him it'd look hokey and it'd probably take me a couple weeks to get to it, and I'd call him when it was done. He said...
  17. everyone is in a rush ???

Most of mine are that way. Some are forgiving. I tell them I'm a week + out and they normally freak out on me. Then the best is when they take forever to pay afterwards. Put some simple stuff on a trailer for a guy that I told to go somewhere else cause I didn't have time, and he INSISTED...
  18. Pricing Shock!!!

The pricing has only tanked that low because of guys willing to do the work out of their garage. Just pass on stuff that ridiculous.
  19. Customer turned "competitor"

I always send the customers I can't stand to the "new lowballing guy" who has been around probably 4 years or so now. He seems to want to be the cheapest guy in town, and he attracts the cheapest people, so that's a win win for me. I keep all my good customers that come to me anyway, and if...
  20. For you Mac users

That's not just for Mac users...a true visionary and legend. I watch the story of this man every time I see it in a new place.
