Ask your customer to send you WMF format. I get it all the time from my clients and imports fine. When they send me DXF I found out that there were 21 vector lines on top of each other. Try to cut with laser and runs 21 passes...... what a mess.

ColorCore is not what you would use for your application. That is another name for material known as Formica or Phenolic. As others have already pointed out what you are looking for is Rowmark LaserMax or Laser Mark sheet stock. Closest to you would be distributor from Australia or New Zealand...
