I think I'd just panel right over them - split down the middle of the rail and then trim it back to the upper and lower edge of those extrusions.
Just be careful to not scratch the paint.........

Just by looking without background info, the use of soft pastel blues and what appears to be a tailor's cloth measuring tape does not scream "Precision Sign Services" to me.
Bolder colors and a more striking icon/logo would be my direction.

If you are getting a loud grinding sound during the cleaning cycle it is most likely time to replace the maintenance station.

Just about the same as contact cement, you let it skin over for a few minutes and then set the fold. It's a one shot deal once it touches.
The trick to using it is an even smooth coat just like contact cement.

To thick (or an errant drop) and it will burn through ruin...
Step up from tape is HH66 vinyl cement.
It takes a little practice to get down but once you do it is as fast or faster than tape and the bond is much stronger over time.
Cost less than tape when you buy the larger containers.
Nice flat cemented joint won't pucker and tunnel the way tape does...
