I guess it depends on what you have to do to get projects out. I pretty well run all my own equipment, and honestly I may learn slowly overtime, but with taking care of getting orders, processing them and dealing with employees and what they need to do, I just have no time to sit down and really...
oh this one is new. I do clean the rubber around the caps every day and squirt 5 drops of cleaning fluid onto the metal piece but I have never taken them out. Today is friday and I will perform a full service with nozzle wash and re lub the bars the head runs on. When you take the silver metal...
question for me is if you ran flexi before...could you actually do a black to white? I have Flexi and cant do it either, so I tell customers simply, take it or leave it as I do not have the patience or energy to spend countless hours anymore dealing with it you might say.
I have a Mimaki jv3 130 spII and we have had it for 2 years now. I would say we use it everyday to do something but we are not a stand alone print shop so the machine can sit idle most of the day. I have been very good with daily maintenance and follow a routine everyday of the week less the...
we have a wireless internet connection and I have no idea what that classifies as. They put an antennae on the roof and it sends our stuff wirelessly. I have to say it costs twice as much as cable I have at home and runs half as fast as well, but cable has not made it to my industrial area as...
Ever since I learned that you can do media compensation while the printer is printing, I seem to have to do it all the time now. I can't remember a job where I didn't have to fuss with doing it at some point in the print....weird
I am running a 4 panel job and the printer has stopped printing about 10" into the 2nd panel. The computer seems fine and the printer is still in remote with no error warnings? What gives?
When I first got my edge I was so confused on how to price it out. I then came up with this. I figured out exactly how much I was paying for vinyl by the inch and how much I was paying for the foils by the inch then multiplied it by the useage in the job and then multiplied by 5. I figured that...
not sure what machine you have but i can do a media compensation on the fly while printing to try and get those bands to look better. also i run unidirectional
I run flexi photoprint and have never even seen a drop down menu for optimize cut, and as stated above even though it is better than not having it clicked it still does it's own thing at times.
print a 12" box and measure all sides if it is larger couldn't you just figure out the %age of how much larger it is and reduce your image by that %age until you find out why it is not working right?
Thats an interesting question, and the reason I say so is that if the software did increase the size of the print that could be a bad thbing as the scale would change. I am interested in hearing the answer to this.
I cant say for sure but there is a scale adjustment in the print and rip menu which can make problems and it may stay as a default. Under the general tab there is a third box under the size and it is a %age gauge. It has screwed me up a couple times when I inadvertantly moved the mouse scroll...
